1st Smith-Fenton’s Regalflight Carion TAF BD, BP, BOB

Shapely dark, harsh coated youngster. Handsome head with dark eye, good pigmentation and neat ears. Lots of bone and body length, well balanced for one so young. Strong neck into well angulated front quarters. Adequate depth of chest, rear angulation good and plenty of hip to hock length. The large ring was a delight for movement of these dogs and he kept his topline on the move. I will watch his future progress with interest.

1st Smith-Fenton’s Cvfenidd Stag of Intack RBD

Almost 2yrs old harsh coated. Fine head with dark eyes and neat ears. Strong neck, deep chest but I would like a little more front angulation. Tidy feet, rear angulation very good.

1st Constantine’s Gentlehun Tulip

Very pretty tall, light, short, harsh coated girl. Dark eyes but still a baby face and carrying a little puppy weight. Bone strong and straight and indication that she still has more growing left. Lots of hip to hock length with correct tail set. Adequate depth of chest. Well muscled.

1st Barret’s Stranwith Ariadne

Very much liked this curvy dark coated unmistakable Deerhound bitch. Feminine head, dark eye and fine well held ears. Deep chest with adequate spring. Front and rear angulation balanced, good length to 1st thigh, and nice slope to pastern, however I would like neater feet. A little shy today but moved well when settled. A pity she missed out on the final line up due to lack of a spare handler.

1st Wiggan’s Lodhainn Ablaize

Almost 2yrs and a substantial girl covering lots of ground when standing. Strong neck into well laid shoulder but would like a little more return of upper arm. Plenty of rear angulation and width. Not helping handler today and movement erratic, but did see occasional glimpses of true movement.

Liked feminine head with fine folded ears. Strong neck into correct front with straight bone. Correct slope of pasterns and tidy feet. Good length and angulation to rear. Kept topline on move. I would like a tad more length to her loin.

2nd Nichols & Collins’ Birkhall Hot Scotch NAF TAF

Light grey girl with lots of body length. Balanced front and rear angulation and lovely rear width. Good depth of chest. Not the topline of 1.

Beautifully presented lighter grey 6 yrs old in full coat. Feminine head, neat folded ears. Lots of 1st thigh length and rear width. Adequate chest depth. I would have liked a neater foot. Unfortunately she dropped her topline on the move.
